Following the fruitful and promising meeting which was held during the SatApps workshop, organized in Moscow end of May 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding between SAT4M2M and RZD / NIIAS as the base for a strong future cooperation has been signed during the Ninth International Conference / Railway Engineering: Partnership of 1520 and 1435 Rail Gauge Manufacturers at Sofitel, Berlin, in parallel to the Innotrans Trade Fair Show and Exhibition.
The goal is the creation of a Joint Venture in order to strengthen the exchange of technology and developments for the large European and Russian / Asian markets. The preparation of an ESA Demonstration Phase is also planned to begin in mid of 2017 as a 4-Nations-Project (CH-DE-AT-RF).
