Our Swiss Home: a Space Tech Business Incubator in the Alps
SAT4M2M is a proud member of the Incubator @SCHWEIZERHOF, a business incubation centre for high potential tech startups. @SCHWEIZERHOF, is the first physical location for a space tech business incubator in Switzerland. As such, we are excited to be part of this journey, and are entirely aligned with the Incubator’s mission to further innovation for industrial IoT applications.
The @SCHWEIZERHOF venture is backed by experienced investors and international industry leaders. The Incubator is funded by the a!tec Group AG, which has been investing in SMBs for over 15 years. Recent graduates and experienced professionals with a common goal are welcome: to start their own business in the IT, IoT or telecommunications sectors, linked to space. Access to industry experts, business management support, intellectual property protection assistance and cooperation with international and regional partners are some of the possibilities offered @SCHWEIZERHOF.
A Global Village with Inspiring Surrounds
SAT4M2M’s space tech business incubator is set within a fully refurbished 1870s hotel in Susch, at the heart of the Swiss Alps, providing state-of-the-art facilities a stone’s throw from some of the world’s best ski resorts. The alpine world @SCHWEIZERHOF, allows visitors to enjoy the best of the snow and trails, while exchanging ideas and networking with others in their industry.
Susch retains a rustic feel and provides a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city, without foregoing cultural attractions. On top of being close to the slopes and shops of St Moritz, Susch is turning into a culture hub, with the opening of a major contemporary art museum down the road from the Incubator. SAT4M2M’s Swiss home is easily accessible from Zürich by train or car, within a two-hour drive from Innsbruck and 50 minutes from the Italian border.
